Flexible Ducting

Information on our flexible ducting products, CHEMDUIT and CHEDUIT-P can be found below.

CHEMDUIT

CHEMDUIT is:

  • A PTFE flexible duct with superior chemical resistance, thermal stability, and mechanical strength.
  • A PTFE flexible duct with durable, impervious, interior and exterior LFP corrosion barriers which are available in a variety of thicknesses and with many special features.
  • A PTFE flexible duct containing a strong laminated seal that encapsulates a rugged spring steel coil and joins together the two LFP corrosion barriers.

Benefits:

  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • Wide temperature range -100°F to 500°F (-73°C to 260°C)
  • Mechanically durable.
  • Excellent nonflammability properties.
  • Positive and negative pressure capability
  • Lightweight.
  • Competitively priced.
  • Wide range of duct diameters and lengths.
  • Many special features available: Flanges, cuffs, colors, conductivity, etc.

CHEMDUIT-P

CHEMDUIT-P is a durable, high temperature, flexible duct consisting of an LFP tube with LFP support rings for maximum chemical resistance. CHEMDUIT-P is made entirely of PTFE. Since there is no wire reinforcement, CHEMDUIT-P is compatible with virtually all chemical environments where ducting products are needed. CHEMDUIT-P is 100% PTFE

Benefits:

  • Available in a wide range of LFP materials.
  • Available in a wide range of diameters and lengths.
  • Engineered for low pressure service (For the evacuation or transfer of gases/vapors)
  • Excellent chemical resistance.
  • Wide temperature range -100°F to 500°F (-73°C to 260°C)
  • Mechanically durable.
  • Excellent nonflammability properties.
  • Positive and negative pressure capability
  • Lightweight.
  • Competitively priced.
  • Wide range of duct diameters and lengths.
  • Many special features available: Flanges, cuffs, protective cuff tails, internal diversion sleeve, colors, conductivity, etc.
